Wander through the copywritng, photography and websites I’ve put together for some incredible businesses

Looking for more examples of my brand photography? You’ll find them here.

Custom website and copywriting.

Who it was for: Not-your-typical-dietitian Rebecca May

What we did: An accessible, clean and welcoming custom Squarespace website that feels like a warm hug — just like sessions with Bec do.

It was important that the copy talk to vulnerable prospects in a supportive and inclusive way — and was sensitive to their struggles without glossing over their experiences.

This website incorporated incredible branding from Patti Andrews, who was a dream to work with.

“A personalised path to rewrite your relationship with food – without diets, scales or guilt.”

“Welcome to a place of safe, curious and judgement-free exploration.

Where you’ll have the support, space and tools to explore your food story, get off the diet roller coaster, create thriving habits, enjoy eating again, and find food and body empowerment.”

“If you’re here, you’re probably feeling like the way you relate to food is out of alignment – and you’re curious about how that could change.

Sometimes it might feel as if your relationship with food is broken and that you’ll have to put up with this forever.
But these are symptoms of a broken system, not a broken person – and you can free yourself from them. “

Website copywriting.

Who it was for: Nat from Wilderness Weddings Tasmania

What we did: 3.5 days of copywriting to launch their brand new website, including collaborating with the website designer to ensure the copywriting served the design and vice versa.

“Enjoy every moment from ‘ideas’ to ‘I dos’.”

“Here’s to the day of your wildest dreams – without the stress, excess, or overwhelm.

Planning your wedding should feel as good as your first kiss. We’ll ask the right questions to understand your vision and harness 50+ years of combined experience to bring it seamlessly to life.

So you can focus on what’s important – loving each other silly.”

“Treading lightly, feeling deeply – the Wilderness Weddings way."

At Wilderness Weddings Tasmania, we don’t do cookie-cutter.

Because we know that your love – whenever and wherever it came to you –

via the ‘ding’ of a dating app, over a spilled beer at the pub, or sweating up a mountain –

deserves a celebration that is entirely, absolutely ‘you’.”

Custom website and imagery.

Who it was for: Woolgoolga-based Dr Ashlea Broomfield

What we did: A custom Squarespace website with fresh brand imagery, that incorporated Dr Ashlea’s existing copywriting and connected to her email list.

We wanted the website to reflect Ashlea’s approach to work, whilst looking fresh, modern and gorgeous.

The imagery shouldn’t feel like traditional corporate headshots, or stock photos of a doctor — they would be as heart-led and authentic as Ash is.

Brand photography.

Who it was for: Sydney-based copywriter and business strategist, Kirsty Fanton

What we did: A diverse collection of new website images as warm and welcoming as Kirsty is! No props, cheesy poses or stereotypical shots necessary. We focused on authentic expressions and relaxed poses that reinforced her connection to her audience.

Brand photography.

Who it was for: Coffs Harbour-based interior designers, renovator and content creators Our Emerald Home.

What we did: A collection of images that not only capture the gorgeous renovation and styling of Our Emerald Home, but the spirit and soul behind it too. We focused on quiet moments and scenes that show how thoughtful, intentional and meaningful the process has been — emphasising the hand-crafted and curated nature of this forever home — and encouraging others to design this way too.

Express website refresh and email automation.

Who it was for: Helen from Hydora Lane Communications — a Sydney-based strategic communications consultant

What we did: An express refresh of her existing Squarespace website, done over three days. The goal of the refresh was to elevate the design to support Helen’s recent repositioning and new website copy.

We did this by creating more consistency across the website, adding custom animations, fonts and dot points, changing the way information was displayed and incorporating elements from her logo to add visual interest and a site-wide ‘theme’.

We finished off by optimising for desktop, tablet and mobile, and later automated her email welcome sequences and incorporated a pop-up for lead magnet download.

Custom website package.

Who it was for: Valla-based Valla Community Preschool

What we did: A Squarespace website with complete custom copy and imagery.

“Giinagay and G’day from Valla Community Preschool! A space to grow and connect with family, community, culture and place.

Joining our not-for-profit preschool means joining a vibrant community.
Through local outings and our gaagal guul (beach preschool), family input and community initiatives, our children get to know local people and places.”

Website copywriting.

Who it was for: Coffs Harbour-based Butterfly Media

What we did: One week to complete in-depth customer research, come up with a messaging strategy and write the copy for a new website, including a kick ass landing page.

"In a world of hustle culture, it’s easy to think that business growth means burning out.

That to get results we need to pull 12 hour days, start cold-calls, do the rounds at networking events and dance on TikTok …

(All whilst running a business, having a family and looking after our own wellbeing – wow).

But legends? We’ve got another idea.

What if you used real audience insights and a crystal-clear Facebook strategy to consistently bring in quality clients who are dying to work with you?

All without spending years (and ad dollars) trying to figure out how.

That’s what Butterfly Media offers –a clear path for scaling your business using social media – without wearing yourself thin in the process.

So you can get back to the things that light you up – like exceeding your client’s expectations, creating the online course of your dreams, or simply carving out more time for YOU.

Sound Good?”
